“I did not invite you into my body”, video, B/W, sound, 4:44 min. 2018.

I Did Not Invite You Into My Body
A film about a sexual assault seen from a child's perspective. The film is constructed by a text made of a series of monoprints. Each frame has exactly the same duration. The soundscape is made of recordings of breathing, body movement etc. that together creates a mental landscape that emphasis feelings of alienation and dissociation.

The 66 monoprints to the video was shown at the exhibition “Yes and More No” at Espace Thorigny in Paris, in October 2018 – a group exhibition on sexual violence. A couple of months later I made the video collaborating with the editor Arturo Bandinelli. The video was first shown at Delfina Foundation in London in December 2018.
