”Monument to Sexual Violence”, bleached silk, watercolor, pencil 330x135 cm. 2018.


Monument to Sexual Violence
Why is there no monument to sexual violence?...... so… I made one myself.

I bleached the silk and sew small pieces of fabric painted with watercolors on the yellowish skin-like silk. In pencil, I wrote a few sentences about being a victim to a crime, where very often there are no witness and therefore one has “no story”.
