"Transitions: Sands Murray-Wassink and Peter Brandt", collaboration with Sands Murray-Wassink, 4 laser prints (hand decorated letters) and 1 ink jet print, 2012.

Transitions: Sands Murray-Wassink and Peter Brandt
"Transitions: Sands Murray-Wassink and Peter Brandt" is a collaborative work by my good friend Sands Murray-Wassink and me. The core of the work is our constant dialogue about life and artů.

My mother died on the 4th. of July 2012, I received shortly afterwards this letter by Sands and I send this to him. So the work consists of our two letters to each other and Sands cat Betsie in between; to recognize and pay tribute to our two feminist heroines, Hannah Wilke and Carolee Schneemann who both made significant works with their pets.

"Transitions: Sands Murray-Wassink and Peter Brandt" was part of the group show FreeStyle, which I co-organized with artist Gitte Winther.
