Rabbit Hole
Abuse often produces other abuse, something I have experienced several times when I have tried to heal my trauma. I have experienced situations with therapists who have exceeded my limits - you go into a therapy room with the desire to change one’s life and going out of the room re-traumatised.

Rabbit Hole: used to refer to a bizarre, confusing, or nonsensical situation or environment, typically one from which it is difficult to extricate oneself (Wikipedia).
