Truce is a group of small household objects individually titled; they are all connected to the silent violence in a home. There is no scream here only a slight whisper…
The works was made in 1998 – 1999 but was first shown in the exhibition The Beginning is Always Today – Contemporary Feminist Art in Scandinavia at Sørlandets Art Museum, Kristiansand, Norway and Västerås Art Museum, Västerås, Sweden 2013/14.
