The brain controls and regulates the body’s actions and reactions. It continuously receives sensory information and rapidly analyses this data and then responds. controlling bodily actions and functions.
Brain injury occurs when an external force injuries the brain and can cause a host of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural effects, and the outcome can range from complete recovery to permanent disability or death.
Anxiety Object Series (Brain) is about the destruction of the brain and its mutability.
For each sculpture I used 1350 grams of clay; the average weight of a human, adult brain.
