FreeStyle is like an open space, where the visual artists have the opportunity to show the work that has never found a place in a curated exhibition, enter into new collaborations, try out other angles, materials or themes. They have opportunities to show other ways of working – and collaborating.
FreeStyle is organised by the artists Gitte Winther and Peter Brandt. They have invited a number of artists, each of whom subsequently invited another cultural agent to participate. The aim of the exhibition is to push the visual arts – and the visual artists – into other ways of seeing, thinking and defining their own roles.
