I did not invite you into my body presents a succession of monotype texts, as if they had been written by a child victim of a sexual assault, assembled to a sound recording of breaths and body movements , the whole constituting a mental landscape that emphasises feelings of alienation and dissociation.
I did not invite you into my body, video, B/W, sound, 4:44 min. 2018. The video was first shown at the open studio event at Delfina Foundation I participated in, while being in residency there in the Autum of 2018.
The 66 monoprints to the video also exists as an independent work and was first shown at the group exhibition Yes and More No, Espace Thorigny, Paris in 2018 – a group exhibition on sexual assault and harassment.
