Let’s Subvert Male Supremacy

Poster made for an exhibition running at the same time as the General Election for Parliament in 2019. The text on the image is: Let’s subvert male supremacy and I see the poster as an alternative political poster made for the election taken place.
I have made several posters using different images of myself in the nude, but every time using the same phrase pointing to the collapse of male dominance. The first one was for the poster project Between The Lines at Oslo National Academy of the Arts in Oslo, Norway – a project made in connection to the #MeToo movement and organized by Hanan Benammar, Liv Bugge, Ane Graff, Stine Herbert and Marianne Heier. The posters was later shown at The Womens Museum in Kongsvinger, Norway.
Another version of this work was shown at Memory of The Future in Paris, in 2018, in a group exhibition on gender, power and feminism, titled “Madame je peux vous appeler monsieur? Je vous en prie monsieur, je vous appellerais donc madame” and curated by Margalit Berriet and Marie-Cécilie Berdaguer.
