Dearest *Vladislav,
Finding you was very hard…but finally I tracked you down living in Cambodia.
I imagined our conversations; I played out our moves…one Marilyn meeting another Marilyn doing Marilyn together. Then the show collapsed, we lost contact and one day came the horrifying news that you had died, drowned in a swimming pool in Bali.
I couldn’t believe it, thought that this must be a performative event of yours…but reading the eulogies on the Internet, it slowly dawned upon me that you were dead.
I thought that were would be other times.
The world continues to crumble, hostility is still ‘the new black’ and the art scene is still ruled by vultures.
Love, Peter
– I think I look really fat in the video, hmm…….
